12U and 14U Goalkeeper Training Session

Castaic AYSO Region 1441 is sponsoring the third annual Goalkeeper Training Session in collaboration with Guyton Colantuono of Santa Clarita Soccer Kicks. This training is aimed at new and returning 12U and 14U Goalkeepers. Guyton Colantuono will teach all of the skills needed to play goalkeeper.

About the event
Guyton Colantuono from Santa Clarita Soccer Kicks LLC serves as the Assistant Coach and Goalkeeper Trainer for the Castaic High School Varsity Soccer Program. Join us, along with other new or returning youth goalkeepers, for a two-part series where we will dissect the fundamental aspects of the 12U and 14U goalkeeper role. The session will cover the following 12U and 14U goalkeeping skills:
Correct Body Alignment (Goalkeeper Stance) and Movement
Catching the ball using proper hand positioning
Distribution (throwing and passing)
One V. one defending
Each player is asked to bring their ball, cleats, shinguards, goalkeeper gloves, long sleeve undershirt and water. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email Guyton at guytono@yahoo.com
